A 3D endless runner fitness game developed in Unity that integrates cycling hardware (ANT+ sensors) to control player movement. The game challenges players to pedal through three distinct zones (Quarry, Traffic, and Wild), each with unique obstacles like conveyor belts, lava, cars, and dinosaurs. Difficulty levels adapt to different player fitness levels, blending gameplay with physical activity.
My contributions included:
Implemented procedural generation for environments and obstacle spawning.
Integrated cycling cadence sensors (ANT+) to map real-world pedaling speed into character movement.
Developed mechanics for multiple zones, including chase sequences, obstacle collisions, and speed-based progression.
Designed UI elements such as distance tracking, high score system, and difficulty selection.
Conducted playtesting with diverse fitness levels to balance challenge and accessibility.
This project demonstrates my skills in Unity development, hardware integration, gameplay mechanics, UI systems, and user-centered design.
